I’m Beginning to See a Pattern…

As temperatures rise, so does the visibility of bright, bold and beautiful prints. You can just make out the silver detail in Adrian’s swirly flame-esque headscarf, worn by Erika during Laguna Beach visit last week.

The caftans above are perfect examples of summer brights. The purple on the left and the teal on the right are from Moss & Ginger, an awesome boutique in South Pasadena. The lovely geometric print in the center is from Trinidad or Tobago, and belonged to Adrian and Erika’s paternal Grandmother. She had some serious style.

The dashikis on the right and the left are from Jamaica. The origin of the wrap in the center is unknown. All three garments are treasures from Grandma’s closet.
